Nehemiah: Rebuilding Broken Lives
“Those who survived the exile are back in the province are
in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is
broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”
Nehemiah 1:3 NIV
Today these words are as true now as they were in Nehemiah’s
day. The people of Israel were living in Jerusalem, the Temple
was complete, but something was not right. The walls around
the city were still broken down and in ruins. Today many
believers are just like the Israelites, they are born again and
serving in the church but their “walls” are broken down and lying
in ruins.
Rebuilding Broken Lives is about rebuilding your life. All of us
have made choices that has hurt us and left us broken. This six-
week study will focus on rebuilding what has been broken in
your life and restoring your walls, so you can experience God
and His purpose. The times we live in today call for this study of
rebuilding and restoring what has been damaged.
“You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace. Nehemiah 2:17 NIV
Are you ready to restore, rebuild and remove the disgrace of your past? Are you ready to grow in your walk with God?
“The times we live in call for this study of rebuilding and restoring what has been damaged. I cannot think of a message more vital today than knowing who you are in Christ and how to break free from sinful habits. We live in a culture of moral decline, and believers want to know how to be free and live in victory. This study addresses these issues."
