When Jesus began His earthly ministry over two thousand years ago, He announced the beginning of His ministry by entering a synagogue in Nazareth and opening the book of the prophet Isaiah. He read what we know today as Isaiah 61:1-2. Jesus set forth His primary mission by claiming these principles:

Preaching the Gospel

Healing the broken hearted

Proclaiming deliverance to the captive

Proclaiming recovery of sight to the blind

Setting at liberty the oppressed

Preaching the acceptable year of the Lord

Jesus’ ministry did not stop when He ascended to the Father. We believe that we, as the body of Christ, are called to perform the work that Christ was sent into the world to do. Join us in this exciting adventure!
