Fortify your prayers by using some of these scriptures in prayers for healing needs.


Isaiah 53:4-5 (NIV) “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” 


Jeremiah 30:17 (NIV)”’For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord.”


Jeremiah 17:14 (NIV) “Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for You are the one I praise.”


Matthew 8:13 (NIV) “Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And the servant was healed at that moment.”


Luke 6:19 (NIV) “And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.”


Psalm 103:2-5 (NIV) “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not His benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Psalm 107:20 (NIV) “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from the grave.”


Proverbs 4:20-22 (NIV) “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”


Hebrews 13:8 (NIV) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”


3 John 1:2 (NKJV) “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”


1 Peter 2:24 (NIV) “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed.”


James 5:14-15 (NIV) “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
